Toolless, unshielded (UTP) transmission keystone sockets of ALANTEC brand are used for construction of both subscriber points and patch panels in indoor installations of horizontal and vertical data communication networks, unthreatened by electromagnetic interference.
The tool-less solution allows to assemble, without special tools, connectors of the entire transmission path. The installation process is fast and comfortable (according to our experience, it takes 1/3 of the time of a standard tool-based installation).
According to the installers preferences, the sockets can be terminated using the classic method, with a tool. Our modules are terminated by a single movement closing the module housing on the cable, which results in terminating all 8 wires of the cable simultaneously on the IDC connector. This method guarantees termination of all cable conductors with the same clamping force.

Through the use of special universal mounts, they can be mounted in any elements such as hollow patch panels, wall and floor boxes, etc.

IMPORTANT CONSTRUCTIVE advantage: plugging in RJ11, RJ12 phone plugs does not damage the socket, special design makes the connector pins not deform.
