The EV charging cable from DIGITUS is compatible with all electric vehicles (EV) and plug-in hybrid vehicles (PHEV) that have a CCS or Type 2 charging connection and can be charged with alternating current
Single-phase charging cables for max. 7.4 kW/32 A are generally used for charging a hybrid vehicle at home – Short cables are ideal if charging is always carried out at the same charging point and the length is sufficient
For charging outdoors, the charging cable complies with protection class IP55 (water jet-proof), which means that a secure connection is possible between charging station and charging socket (charging inlet)
For straight vehicle charging cables, the indicated length is fully usable – It can be wrapped around the electric vehicle so that the parking position is no longer determined by the position of the charging station
Thanks to IEC type 2 plug and jack (EU standard IEC 62196-2), the mode 3 cable can be used at nearly any charging station and wallbox in Europe to charge electric cars and other electric vehicles
